Ciara Galvin is a magnificent woman who is passionate about her job, her friends and of course, life. This ambitious woman will, without doubt, achieve anything she sets out to do.

From Around the World

Ciara was born in South Africa, but her family hail from all over the world.

Her mother, sister and brother were all born in Israel and lived there for years until they moved to South Africa. They lived here for years and made their final move to Australia, where they are currently living.

Ciara lived in Australia for a while, but decided to move back to our shores. For her, South Africa is, and always will be, ‘home’.

Work and Goals

Ciara is currently working at Kali Hai Trading, which is a distribution company specialising in hair treatments such as Bionic Hair treatment, Global Keratin and the new ‘it’ treatment otherwise known as the Brazilian hair taming system with Juvexin.

She is also a qualified makeup artist as well as a hair extensionist. On top of that she is working towards a degree to become a professional counsellor.

Ciara aspires to open up an elite salon, which will make the customer feel like royalty. With her ambition and drive, this is sure to become a reality.

And for Fun...

For fun Ciara likes to go out for lunch with a few good friends and make a day of it. She also loves to go clubbing and is an avid dancer; so the dance floor is where you will find her.

She also has a passion for exercise (how many people can say that?) and goes to the gym everyday, which helps in releasing all her stresses and anxieties and leaves her feeling good.

‘South Africa is a beautiful place – a place rich with soil and soul and smiles,’ says Ciara. ‘But there is a deep problem and, of course, the problem is crime.’

She believes that if the police were paid more they would be motivated to work harder; thus cutting down crime so that we can live in peace in this magnificent country.

‘I suppose there is so much corruption inside of the police force that we would have to start from scratch!’

Confidence!

Ciara believes that the issue of weight is in urgent need of attention amongst women. She gets passionate when talking about the subject, ‘We should all watch what we eat, be at a good weight and feel good within ourselves. But to feel good within ourselves we need one thing and that is confidence! When one is not confident you lose your true beauty. Always feel good about who you are and remember that you are beautiful!’
