Work and Play
Casey is currently studying for an honours degree in inclusive education and she teaches privately as a remedial teacher. Her ambition is to actively take part in making a difference to education in
Spending time with friends and family is extremely important to her. She loves nothing more than going to Melrose Arch for lunch or dinner to catch up with her friends. And for a good party her favourite hangout is Movida in Sunninghill. A great club where she can let her hair down and party it up.
Relationships, Challenges and Growth
Casey is currently single. When it comes to a partner, she is looking for someone with ambition and drive. But most importantly, she says, she wants someone to love her the way she loves them.
Studying at
The most healing feeling she has ever felt was when she eventually had the courage to speak out about it. ‘Letting my voice be heard and having action taken against him was the most liberating feeling – now that’s what you call girl power!’ she exclaims.

She believes that the event has given our country positive exposure and hopes that many people can now begin to appreciate South Africa for its wonderful people, cities and rich culture.
To Casey, education in South Africa is in urgent need of attention as many children are still not being provided with adequate education. This educator exclaims with great passion that ‘it is every child’s right to be educated. Teachers need to be empowered and the funding and budgets should be used judiciously!’

Casey is adamant about the ability to speak out, and that woman in this country and throughout the world need to discover their voices.
‘We as woman should be unified so we can make a difference in changing the issues that face us today.’
