The Attic is a relaxing, unpretentious, hipster-like quality spot in the ever popular 4^th Avenue in Parkhurst. A place where people come together to let go of the stresses of modern day living.

The Food

Chef/owner Tom Hughes is dedicated in sourcing the finest ingredients available and, wherever possible, makes sure that the produce that he uses is sustainable, free range and organic. 

What is great is that at The Attic you will never get bored of the menu as you do at so many restaurants that are extremely set. The menu changes seasonally, to complement seasonal ingredients and the weather.

All the meals show optional wine or beer recommendations, which have been matched perfectly to bring out the flavour of each delicious dish. You are also not obligated to buy wine by the bottle as you are at most restaurants. The vast majority of the wine list is available by the glass. (You know you love that.)

The Atmosphere and Décor

Vintage toile wall paper decorates the walls of The Attic while wooden tables and antique chairs sit invitingly. The walls are lined with old photos and antique-like paintings and glorious beaded chandeliers hang from the ceiling.

Then there is the cocktail bar. The cocktail bar entices you with its ruby rafters and pressed metal wall. And as you order your drinks, you tap your feet to the sound of fun, fresh and funky music. You dance, you drink and you exhale all your inhibitions and stresses of the day.
