As you enter MiBar, located at 160 Jan Smuts Avenue, Rosebank, you are immediately transported into a stylish space and are taken on a unique communicative and social experience. It is something that South Africa has never seen before.

The space is beautiful; reminiscent of a stylish New York bar. The dark wooden floor leads the way to the bar and the face-brick walls are decorated with large photographs, reminiscent of a film noir poster. This adds to the chic vibe that surrounds the space and its people.

As you make your way to buy your next cocktail, to your right on a slightly raised platform, are plush black and white couches lining the wall; in front of which are tables. Tables you ask?

MiBar: Interactive

Not just any tables; these are interactive, digital and social tables that work to further your communicative, networking and social experience at MiBar.

As you sit comfortably on the couches, chatting to your friends and sipping your cocktail, you can simply order another one from where you sit by clicking on the interactive screen that makes up the table in front of you. You can also watch rich media content and play online on your table.

And ladies… if you see a good looking man who has caught your eye at the table next to you, you can also chat to him from your table – just key in what you want to say, press send and your message will reach his table. This adds to the excitement of the MiBar experience.

The colour scheme is magnificent and chic. Silver, white and some black decorate the space elegantly; adding to the alluring appeal. The deck outside is just as inviting with plush silver and white couches; perfect for intimate conversation and some flirting.

MiLounge: The Vibe

This is the perfect venue to share sundowners, forget about the stresses of everyday life and relax with a fantastic cocktail, glass of champagne or glass of wine (or all three). Head to MiLounge after work, or come over the weekends and have Sunday sundowners to relax you before the grind ahead.
