Dr Suzan Hojdar will this weekend (9-10 October) be presenting a two day workshop delving into the deep archetypal realm of the goddesses. So if you want to step into the realm of the goddess and immerse yourself in the experience of her many facets, then this is for you.

Power of the Suppressed Archetype

The workshops will look at the power of the suppressed archetype as seen in modern culture. The goddess was swallowed by patriarchy, forced underground and is today emerging fragmented in us.

Included will be seven experiential goddess sessions in which every goddess is honoured with her own theatre, ceremony and ritual. From this you will be able to identify the goddess in you, your mother, sisters and friends.

 aphrodite2Potential of the Archetypal Forces

The aim of the workshops is to give you access to the potential of the archetypal forces through a process of unfolding the awareness of the fullness of Feminine Being in a culture that prescribes and rewards stereotypical roles. Essentially it is the integration of the fragmented goddess to allow you to access the potential of the goddess energies.

To achieve this the workshop explores how the Greek goddesses personify common themes in our daily life by asking:

o    How do we love (Aphrodite/Dementer)

o    What do we do when we are inspired by an ideal (Athena/Artemis)

o    How do we express motherhood (Dementer)

o    How do we avoid getting stuck in one-sided roles (Hera/Athena)

o    Do we ignore our inner world (Persephone)

o    How do we stay centred (Hestia)?
